9 I signed 6 Recommends I received 3 Letters
I wrote up my Journal & took cars for Deserett
at 4 oclok with my two councillors & several others
we arived at our stoping place at 12 oclok & slept
on the Cars untill morning 150 Miles

To the First Presidency, Dear Brethren, On Monday the 12th inst at 11 a m the Church school will be opened that has been erected in Mill Creek Ward at which time it is designed to dedicate the building for school purposes. If yourselves or any of the Trustee could make it convennet to attend upon that occasion it would be greatly appreciated Your brother in the Gospel J E. Taylor
