Dear Brother: Your letter of Jan. 26th,
asking me for a mission is before me.
Just now I cannot answer you com-
pletely, however, for these reasons:
I am teaching school here in Montpelier
Idaho. Promised to teach 9 months. To
keep my promise I would have to remain
until the last of May.
Yesterday I went to see the trustees about
it but they could not give me a definite
answer. It is my opinion that they
intend to keep school until the last of
April.
Now in case they are not willing to
let me off until the last of April, cou
would it be acceptable for me to leave
sometime in the latter part of May.
I woshould like to visit a week or two with
my parents at home, before leaving for my
mission.
I think, that in about two weeks
