James Hendricks, b. 1808
James Hendricks (1808-1870) was born 23 Jun. 1808 in Kentucky. He was the son of Abraham Hendricks and Charlotte Hinton. He married Drusilla Dorris on 31 May 1827; participated in plural marriage. He was baptized in Mar. 1835. He was the keeper of the Bath House in Great Salt Lake City, Great Salt Lake Co., Utah Territory, which Wilford Woodruff occasionally visited and, on 30 Jan. 1851, Wilford attended the marriage ceremony of James Hendricks' daughter Catherine Tabitha Hendricks Van Noy. He died 8 Jul. 1870 in Richmond, Cache Co., Utah Territory.
