John Farnham Boynton
John Farnham (Farnum) Boynton (1811-1890) was born 20 Sep. 1811 in Bradford, Essex Co., Massachusetts. He was the son of Eliphalet Boynton and Susannah Nichols. He married Susannah Lowell on 20 Jan. 1836 in Geauga Co., Ohio; widowed after 17 Jun. 1860. He married Mary West Jenkins on 8 Nov. 1865 in New York City, New York Co., New York; separated. He married Caroline F. Harriman after 14 Jan. 1883 in Portland, Cumberland Co., Maine. He was baptized in Sep. 1832 in Kirtland, Geauga Co., Ohio. He was frequently mentioned in Wilford Woodruff's journal and letters as a former apostle in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He died 20 Oct. 1890 in Syracuse, Onondaga Co., New York.
