John Lloyd Stephens

John Lloyd Stephens wrote a two-volume set of books entitled Incidents of Travel in Egypt, Arabia Petraea, and the Holy Land, which Wilford Woodruff read on 18 and 19 Oct. 1844 and later referenced in a General Conference discourse he gave on 6 Oct. 1889 in the Tabernacle at Salt Lake City, Salt Lake Co., Utah Territory.
