John Lowe Butler

John Lowe Butler (1808–1860) was born 8 Apr. 1808 in Warren Co., Kentucky. He was the son of James Butler and Charity Lowe. He married Caroline Farzine Skeen on 3 Feb. 1831 in Sumner Co., Tennessee. He was baptized 9 Mar. 1835. He served two missions to the Sioux Indians, 1840-1841, which Wilford Woodruff noted in his journal on 13 Jul. 1840. He died 10 Apr. 1860 in Spanish Fork, Utah Co., Utah Territory.
