Levinah W. Jackson Murphy

Levinah W. Jackson Murphy (abt. 1809-1847) was born about 1809 in South Carolina. She was the daughter of Fredrick Jackson and Charlotte. She married Jeremiah B. Murphy about 1825 in South Carolina, and they had seven children. She was baptized 6 Aug. 1836 in Weakley Co., Tennessee. She hosted Wilford Woodruff and attended church services with him in 1836 in Weakley Co., Tennessee. She was traveling with the Donner Party and died in Mar. 1847 in the Sierra Nevada Mountains, Mexican Cession Territory.
