Priscilla Hopkins Brereton Kemble

Priscilla Hopkins Brereton Kemble (1758-1845) was born 17 Dec. 1758 in London, Middlesex, England. She was the daughter of William Hopkins and Elizabeth Barton. She married William Brereton on 24 Sep. 1777 in Westminster, London, Middlesex, England, and they had one child; widowed 17 Feb. 1787. She married John Philip Kemble on 8 Dec. 1787. She died 13 May 1845 in Leamington, Warwickshire, England. She was one of the eminent women for whom Wilford Woodruff initiated proxy temple ordinance work in Aug. 1877.
